A Haven For Seafood
Martha's Vineyard is known for being THE spring and summer vacation destination for New England. Ripe with beaches and only accessible by ferry, the island has some of the best seafood in the nation as locally caught fish and shellfish are brought in daily.
LARSEN'S
-Larsen's is a small unassuming seafood shack located directly on the beach in Menemsha. Menemsha is perhaps most well known for being the place where Jaws was filmed. The perfect experience would be to order some oysters, stuffed scallops, and some lobster rolls and just have a picnic on the beach.

-Larsen's is known for having a wide selection of soups, smoked fish, and other to go items. Their crowning jewel is their Lobster Rolls either hot and buttered or cold with mayo, but don't let the other items go unnoticed as everything is delicious, unfussy, and expertly prepared.

-Prices change daily with the availability of the seafood but lobster rolls will go for about $14, with raw bar items like oysters clocking in at $1-2 a piece, appetizers at $2.75, and soups at $5 a bowl.

DETENTE
-Detente takes a modern fine dining approach with local ingredients in a laid back atmosphere. this restaurant is perfect for a date night out with its curated wine and cocktail menu and inventive sharable dishes that will leave you both amused and satisfied.

-Prices Range in the $12 area for small plates and $20-30 for the larger plates. This restaurant like many others opens for the busy season, end of spring to early fall.

OUTERMOST INN
-The Outermost Inn is both a lodging as well as a beautiful restaurant set against beautiful scenery. With modern riffs on classic New England dishes, the restaurant offers a relatively modestly priced pre-fixe menu with the option to supplement your meal how you see fit. Grab a table outside at sunset and enjoy the view as you dine.

-Prices Range is $75 for the set menu and around $12 for additions. This restaurant like many others opens for the busy season, end of spring to early fall.

BLACK DOG
-Black Dog is the most Iconic brand on Martha's Vineyard, the space is located directly on the dock with out door seating on the sand. Black Dog has a collection of stores in a squared off location from clothing to a cafe and bakery and finally a tavern which serves comforting classics like fish and chips and clam chowder.

-Prices Range is around $12 for brunch items and around $20 for dinner items. This restaurant is open year round.
